Darryl "DMC" McDaniels, from Run DMC, joins the band for a second year in a row.

The Music Director, Rob Fusari, has won Grammy Awards as songwriter and producer for Lady Gaga.  Plus, he’s written hits with/for Destiny’s Child, Whitney Houston, Kelly Rowland, and British group ABC.

The evening’s special guest artist is Chris Butler, former band leader and chief songwriter of The Waitresses, which secured the hit “I Know What Boys Like.”

Original MTV VJ, Mark Goodman, comes back for a second year to Emcee.

Goodman, currently co-host of “Debatable” on SiriusXM’s VOLUME channel, will relate MTV stories and help force the audience to bid on auction items.

Joining Goodman this year is Lori Majewski, SiriusXM’s host of 1st Wave and Volume channels, and author of Mad World: An Oral History of New Wave Artists and the Songs That Defined the ’80s will serve as Co-Emcee.  Her ’80s credentials are obvious, plus she’s a Jersey girl from Weehawken.

The real “stars” of the show are the students you’ll see onstage who make up the band Sweet Dreams.  These are students from the William Paterson University Music program.  All net proceeds from the event are earmarked for music scholarships.  Attend the show, have some fun, and help students come to William Paterson’s Music program or help them stay in it.
